Chad Catalino

Chad D. Catalino graduated cum laude from Michigan State University Law School in 2003. Throughout his career, Mr. Catalino has been consistently dedicated to public service where he has served in indigent defense systems across Michigan. Mr. Catalino is an experienced criminal defense litigator having litigated the most serious felony cases within the Michigan criminal courts as well as abuse/neglect cases. Mr. Catalino previously served as the supervising attorney of the Misdemeanor Division with the Muskegon County Public Defender’s Office, where he partnered with Ms. Manda Mitteer to develop a Holistic Defense Project after receiving a technical assistance grant through the Bronx Defender’s Office. Currently, Mr. Catalino serves as the director of the Office of the Public Defender, Allegan Van Buren Counties, where he is working to develop a Holistic Defense Office and implement the overhaul of the Michigan Indigent Defense System in conjunction with the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission.
