Dani Lachina

Legal Aid Society of Cleveland
Staff Social Worker II
Cleveland OH
Dani Lachina is the staff social worker at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, where she addresses problems that interfere with an attorney’s ability to represent some of the most difficult clients while reducing barriers clients may have in participating in their legal case. Whether it’s getting survivors of domestic violence to safety at a local shelter, helping a disabled client relocate after a foreclosure, helping clients with severe mental illness accept treatment so they can participate in their legal case, or simply helping a client make a decision to settle a case, Dani is dedicated to providing clients with holistic representation and services in order to achieve successful outcomes for both attorneys and clients. In addition to direct practice, Dani also supervises MSW students, mentors other legal aid programs launching social work programs, and collaborates with attorneys on a variety of advocacy projects. She holds her Masters in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
