Leah Rappaport

Dr. Rappaport is an assistant professor in the Division of Hospital Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology at Kenyon College and her medical degree at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. Dr. Rappaport's research interest is to address the issue of medical health disparities in children in not only direct service but also at a systemic level, which leverages multidisciplinary teams to create innovative approaches driven by data. She is one of the medical champions of the Medical-Legal Partnership at UM as well as a practicing pediatrician in its hospitalist division.
